Breton Island HUB LD
Type of project : School, Level Design exercice
Summary
This was the second level design exercice asked on SketchUp Free. For this exercice, we were asked to create a HUB with the aspect of a Breton island. To do so, I researched the topography and the architecture of the buildings of said islands and did my best to recreate it.

These first two buildings represent two different stores from which the player can purchase new items our refill his stocks before departure on another mission. The one on the top is thought to be a consumables store while the one on the right is an equipment store.

This building is the one from which the player can retrive new missions from the quest board on the front. The tower on the back represents a dovecote for carrier pigeons to come and go with different messages.

These are the outside and inside of the player's house. This house was the first I created and the one that served of base for the other ones. The inside part has several elements thought to be interactable for the player, like the bed to skip to the next morning, the wardrobe to change the character's appaerance and equipment or even the small table in the corner that can serve to check on and launch missions.

Lastly, one of the imperatives of the exercice was to have a healing fountain to heal the character's health back to its' maximum and a puzzle to block its' access. Being on an island, I decided to create a puzzle based on the tides and their connection to the moon and sun.
